Paper Issues
Magazines remain an important source of information, entertainment, and education. The magazines at right are a selection of magazines in paper format that are available in the NPCC library. Come to the library and try one out or check out an issue for reading at home.
Web Magazines
For those who would rather do their reading online, print magazines typically host a Web site that posts a few articles from their paper issue along with information about the magazine. The fees charged for access or the small archives on some sites make the library's magazine databases much better resources for most research. However, these sites are a good source for information that is constantly changing such as current news or stock prices. The directories listed below can be used to find online magazines. eZines
The term ezine can be applied to any publication that uses a magazine format and is distributed over the Internet. Many can only be accessed through the Web and often contain information unique to this medium. The overall quality of information is not considered as good as what is found in print sources but can still be useful if the source of the publication is reliable. Examples of several magazines of this type are included on this page.

Illustrated magazines are available in paper copy.
